Why come to Maine for LifeWays training?
The Rockport/Camden area is known as the Jewel of the MidCoast. While you are in class, your family can enjoy the beaches, parks, lakes, hiking trails and small village life of rural Maine in the summer.
Want to come by yourself for just a long weekend?
Our October and April weekends are open sessions. Come in October and learn to needle felt wool puppets and create stories from nursery rhymes with Suzanne Down. Or come for the April weekend and make a woolen sleeping doll and learn the healing arts of home care with Elizabeth Sustick, RN.
How do I get there?
You can now fly into nearby Rockland on Cape Air. Or travel from Boston on the Concord Trailways bus line straight up the coast to Camden/Rockport. Someone can meet you at the airport or bus station, and carpools can be arranged during the session.
