Trisha Lambert

Trisha Lambert brings nearly 25 years of early childhood education experience to her service on the LifeWays Board. Trisha has a B.A. in Early Childhood education with an emphasis in Waldorf education, also serves on the board of the Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America (WECAN) and teaches at Rudolf Steiner College.

As a certified Waldorf Early Childhood teacher, Trisha noticed there was a lack of care for the very youngest children using a Steiner-based approach, and was drawn to attend and teach in the first LifeWays Training in Fair Oaks, CA. For many years she ran a home-based childcare program, which became a model center for LifeWays students to visit. Trisha spent two years at the Lakota Waldorf School on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, taught kindergarten at Highland Hall Waldorf School in Northridge, CA and currently teaches at Lavender Preschool at Davis Waldorf School.

Trisha is an accomplished dyeing artist and began Colors of Nature to share and showcase her beautiful, naturally dyed cloth and other fiber products. Trisha shares a home with her husband, Chris, in Davis, CA and has two grown sons, both of whom graduated from the Davis Waldorf School.
