Refund Policy for LifeWays North America

At LifeWays North America, we are committed to providing meaningful, high-quality learning experiences for individuals dedicated to relationship-based early childhood care and education. Because our offerings include scheduled programs, digital content, and limited-enrollment courses, we have developed the following refund policy to ensure clarity and fairness for all participants
General Refund Guidelines

Refunds may be available for certain programs and services, but are subject to specific conditions outlined below. We encourage you to read all course or program descriptions carefully before registering.
REFUND POLICY BY TYPE

1. Online Courses (Self-Paced or On-Demand)

Refunds are not available once access to course materials has been granted.

If you experience technical issues preventing access, please contact us immediately so we can assist you.

2. Live Online Programs & Webinars
-
Full refunds are available if cancellation is requested at least 7 days prior to the start date.
-
Cancellations made within 7 days of the program start are eligible for a 50% refund.

No refunds will be issued once the program has begun or for missed sessions.

3. In-Person Trainings & Workshops
-
Full refunds are offered if cancellation is requested 14 days or more before the event.

50% refunds are available for cancellations made 7–13 days before the start.
-
No refunds for cancellations made within 6 days of the event.

If LifeWays cancels an in-person event, a full refund or transfer to a future session will be offered.

4. Early Childhood Certification Program

The $75 Application Fee is nonrefundable. If a student must drop out of the program, the other fees will be prorated as follows:

Prior to the first session: Full refund less a $100 processing fee.

During or after completing the first session: Partial refund based on a $100 processing fee and a prorated amount for the days attended.

After attending half of the training sessions, no refund or credits will be given on the amount owed for the complete training. Trainings are undertaken based on students’ agreements, so payment commitments will continue. Students may complete the training at any future time in any location.

If tuition and/or fees increase before the student completes the training, then the student is responsible for paying any increase in the costs

5. Fundamentals Program
​
The $100 application fee is nonrefundable. If a student must withdraw from the course, the other costs will be determined as follows:

If a student withdraws 30 or more days prior to the course beginning: Full refund less the $100 application fee

If a student attends the in person retreat and withdraws from the online portion: 50% tuition refund of the online portion ($325).

If a student attends the online portion and withdraws from attending the retreat: Full refund of the supply fee ($200) and 50% tuition refund of the retreat ($325).

6. Digital Products (eBooks, Downloads, etc.)

Due to the nature of digital content, no refunds are issued for purchased downloads.
Transfers & Credits
In certain cases, LifeWays may offer the option to:

Transfer your registration to another session or program.
-
Apply a credit toward a future course.
Please contact us to discuss your specific situation. We will do our best to accommodate requests within reason and capacity.
How to Request a Refund

Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 7–10 business days of approval.
