About
LifeWays North America is about bringing connection, warmth, and vitality to the center of life again. We are about cultivating relationships and nurturing a foundation of Selfhood that begins in early childhood and supports an individual as they grow and transform throughout life.
Caring for and educating young children is not about getting them to the next step, it’s about holding the whole picture of their life with sincerity and intention. It's about respecting the archetypal human phases that we all grow through and the individual spiritual journey of purpose and fulfillment.

Set upon the broader guiding principles from Rudolf Steiner and healthy articulations of child development, Cynthia Aldinger founded LifeWays care. With a template of Home as the model and Life as the curriculum, the LifeWays Principles and Practices are universally applicable to care and education in early childhood. And now, in the next chapter of LifeWays growth, our principles and educational offerings are being expanded to include the phase of middle childhood, ages six to twelve.
Lifeways’ care and education is leading the way in providing this nourishing foundation for children across the US and beyond. Our in-person training program and online educational offerings provide you with a deep understanding of our vision, Principles, and Practices. Our Representative Site program, network of Goodwill Ambassadors and online presence provide a broad community of continued support and empowerment.
Enheartening Lives, Awakening Purpose
At LifeWays, we are committed to nurturing families and providing inspiring childcare through a holistic approach that centers on the needs of both children and parents. Our programs, courses and workshops are designed to create a strong foundation for lifelong learning and emotional well-being. Our carefully crafted curriculum encourages growth through creative exploration, while our specialized care for infants and toddlers ensures the youngest children receive the love, attention, and developmental support they need. We also offer ongoing support for families, empowering parents to engage fully in their child's development. At LifeWays, we believe in a whole-child approach that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit.
