Program at a Glance

How do we select stories for our programs?

What calls to our hearts?

Can we deepen the meaning of the archetypes for ourselves within each story or fairytale  we create for young children?

Together in this intensive, we will cultivate the importance of stories and fairytales for young children. We will also discover the beauty and humanity universal tales offer that are woven through all cultures.  Each participant will make one standing puppet by the last day.

Details of Each Session

Each session will be rich with presentation and conversation while focused on these primary topics:

Session One - Learning a summer story for the start of the school year.

Session Two - Selecting a story that you connect to most.

Session Three - Creating a standing puppet & continuing to discuss the importance of storytelling.

This workshop series takes place live on Zoom over three Fridays.

The series will be recorded and released to those who attend at least one live session, with a 30 day window for viewing. Please do not share recordings with others. In order to cultivate a sense of togetherness and active participation, we warmly insist that your video be turned on during our live sessions. Please do your best to make arrangements so this is possible.
