A workshop to create a little house for a critter looking for a cozy place to live.

Mousie, mousie come out of your housie!

A hill is a house for an ant
A hive is a home for a bee
A hole is a home for a mole or a mouse
And a house is a house for me
A web is a house for a spider
And a bird builds a nest in a tree
There’s nothing as snug
As a bug in a rug
And a house is a house for me.
What is a home for you?

A place of safety and comfort, a sanctuary of love, for you and your loved ones to grow and create your special way of living. Home is a feeling of belonging that soothes the soul and invites warmth, love and protection. The critters in the world build their own homes just like us and for them similarly their home is their little castle of protection and safety and where their little ones are born.

These little homes will create wonderful sparks of stories and images of protection and love. In this workshop, we will make a little home for a critter of your choice to use in your programs or homes for storytelling and nature gardens. They are a beautiful way to offer a visual image of home and being caressed by loving care. We will use wool and dry felting techniques to build our little home.
