Giggle Island in Our Times

Updated: Oct 2

Giggle Island was gifted to me over the Holy Nights of last year. I had been counseling with a wonderful wise and gracious grandmother providing magic and wonder at her home for her only grand daughter, four years old. The child had been born in an exemplary conscious home birth with a mother committed to gentle parenting.

But as the fiery temperament of this bold child, totally protected from screens, bad food and other hindering influences, bloomed, her “force of nature” spirit and her dominating actions were taking over the whole show and clearly needed addressing! As a Waldorf educator and teacher of teachers, I pondered over a pedagogical story and gradually the imaginations for Giggle Island evolved into the narrative.

This child like many, especially our girls today, is not an anomaly. Such brave souls are arriving from the spiritual world full of fire and courage to take on incarnations at one of the most critical times in the history of the world!  A time when our humanity itself is threatened by AI robotic takeovers of every aspect of our being body, soul and spirit. These incoming souls have to have verve and courage and initiative and plenty of it. They will not be easy to raise as they demand a high level of compassionatebut surestrength of character in parents and teachers.

And they need to be tempered to know the rules of earth and community and so need models of mastery of the emotional astrality around them to absorb in their formative years. They need the safe havens and the soul comforting fact (despite their tantrums) that adults are handling the big stuffsensible health supporting routines, food, sleep, good habitsand providing the environment of the good, beautiful, and the true they need to know exists and the core basis of being a human being. That is homebase. And what a fabulous gift when a full on ‘welcome to life’enthusiastic wonder, gratitude, humor, faith, and joyis being modeled by the adults that matter in their world.

What a tall order for a time filled with anxiety and fear hanging like a damp fog over the entire world and requiring us to rise above it for the sake of our children (and ourselves) but demanding enormous self knowledge, and super human courage and determination! Wow! what an era to be alive when so much is asked and needed! But we and the spirit world must have figured we are all pretty important characters to be on deck for the big showdown of holding onto our humanity in the face of technological and physical materialistic globalist domination takeover!

Hooray for the brave souls all around. AI can never love, never feel, never sorrow, never transcend…it can lure and control and annihilate under direction of the dark soulless super sensible adversary forces.

But we have the greatest force in the universe here for us.  Lovehuman love, family love, soul love, love of life, humanity love, love of a higher Christ/Divine powers which in unison of purpose we can serve and multiply exponentially! And AI can fake humor but never feel the hilarity the rib-tickling fullness of a huge belly laugh, or a huge warmth-filled hug! Only we humans can do that...and need to more than ever!.

I felt the story was a gift from the Christ child. Here I am, 94 years oldeyesight failing, hand unsteady, sometimes not even able to distinguish the colors, and turning this out in two weeksit was with higher help for sure! The archetypes are all there...our lower self gets us in trouble that needs comeuppance and balance. (Look for the offering chalice the girls hold between them with the bananafilled with the sun.) Love and joy is the elixirthe cure.

My greatest reward for a life devoted to care and protection of the young would be knowing in many places giggles and family and community huggles and wonderful silliness of enjoying life together is happening that no powers of darkness can ever take away. Because love, laughter, and joy are the vitality, the life-giving gift divine joy we shine, sun-like, and give back to the spirit world that makes the angels sing and life go on!

P.S. The little girl who inspired the story loves it especially when Grandpa tells it and when her great grandfather just passed, she was the light of his passingsinging and making a beautiful picture for him to go to heaven!

I recently came across AllMachines while exploring listings for farm equipment. Their Tractors for Sale section is well organized, and I was impressed by the range of Case IH Tractors for sale available. Definitely worth checking out if you’re comparing models from different brands like TYM Tractors for sale or LS Tractors for sale.
