Chinyelu has been involved in Waldorf education for over 32 years as a mother and early childhood teacher. In September 2019, Chinyelu founded WeNurture, a podcast series that offers topics on early childhood as well as stories for children. On her website, wenurturecollective.com, she offers online courses and articles. Chinyelu holds a BA in Interior Design and a Master's in Architecture. In addition, she has completed the Waldorf Early Childhood Teacher Training at Sunbridge Institute in Spring Valley, New York, and the LifeWays Early Childhood Training. In September 2020, Chinyelu became a new Board member of LifeWays North America. Chinyelu currently serves as Joint Head of School and Parent Liaison at Hundred Hills School. She hopes to cultivate a space where parents feel deeply seen, supported, and empowered. She carries a deep reverence for the unfolding journey of childhood and she holds with reverence the community that surrounds both parents and children.

Shanah Ahmadi
Shanah earned a B.A. in Communications from the University of Oklahoma, and she completed her LifeWays training in 2007. That same year she began a home-based program named The Purple House, which in 2010 was incorporated as a non-profit organization named Rose Rock School. Shanah currently serves as Director of Rose Rock School, plus she is a Grade School teacher there. She loves getting to know the individual spirits of the people with whom she works--children, parents, and colleagues. She cannot begin to count the ways that the many people she has worked with over the years have shaped her character and helped her to be a more loving, authentic, and dedicated human being.

How to Apply
The following steps must be completed before considering yourself fully accepted to and ready to attend our in person retreat:
1. Fill out the online application and pay the $100 Application fee
2. Complete the Payment Plan Form and Contract
3. After application, fill out a Financial Assistance form if tuition support is needed (provided after application).
4. Reach out to the Student Services Coordinator of your location to let them know you have enrolled, or are in the process of enrolling, and they can assist you with any questions that arise.
