Program at a Glance
Creating a program specifically for parents and their very young children is a special task. Our rhythms must meet the needs of the very youngest (infants) to toddlers under three. How do we craft our programs for developmental needs while balancing the essential understanding for all families to be at their best? Our collaborative work in this manner will support families outside of class that can then also be integrated into homelife. These parent-child programs can also serve as support for young families- sharing insights, offering guidance, and helping parents to gain confidence in their own insights.
Join Leslie Wetzonis Woolverton for this three-session workshop and learn how to work with each specific age’s development and explore how to provide these elements to create your own warm & loving program:
October 10: Parent-Infant,
October 17: Parent-Toddler
November 14: Parent-Child
This workshop series takes place live on Zoom over three Saturdays and is available for 2.5 CE hours per session with full live participation. CE credit cannot be earned by watching recordings.
This workshop will be recorded and released to those who are participating in the live sessions, with a 30 day window for viewing. Please do not share recordings with others. In order to cultivate a sense of togetherness and active participation, we warmly insist that your video be turned on during our live sessions. Please do your best to make arrangements so this is possible.

Tuition
$100 per session;
or $225 for all three sessions

This workshop has a minimum of 8 enrollments by Wednesday, October 7.
Continuing Education Credits

About the Instructor
Leslie Wetzonis Woolverton
Leslie Wetzonis Woolverton currently teaches a Three Day Preschool class at Potomac Crescent Waldorf School located in Alexandria, VA. Last year, she substituted in both Parent- Infant & Parent-Baby classes from winter through spring at PCWS as well. .For more than twenty years, she taught Waldorf Parent-Child and Nursery classes at Acorn Hill Waldorf Kindergarten & Nursery School located in Silver Spring, Maryland. Currently, Leslie is a member of the WECAN Early Childhood Research Group (Two recent WECAN Publications), and also works as a WECAN Site Visitor and Teacher Trainer for several Teaching Institutes in North America. As a third generation Anthroposophist, Leslie brings a broad scope of wisdom and knowledge to Waldorf Early Childhood Education from her own early childhood.
Now out of the classroom, Leslie loves her work with adults as a teacher trainer, mentor and evaluator, visiting many schools and new teachers across the country. Leslie is also a skilled textile artist and interior designer of close to forty years. Leslie enjoys writing and compiling early childhood stories that reflect the world in the interest of advancing inclusion, diversity, equity, and access by creating puppetry to bring classics, cultural tales and her own new stories to life. When not working, Leslie spends time with her family and friends at her beloved beach home in Chincoteague Island, Virginia.
