Each webinar meets for just one hour over Zoom so that it is easy to fit into a full family life. Spend a little bit of time with one of LifeWays veteran pedagogues on topics that range from nurturing your relationships to deepening your understanding of how to meet the children in your care and your home.

In order to create a feeling of togetherness, we kindly request that you arrange for your video screens to be turned on. A background of family life is understood and welcome.

Each webinar will be recorded and offered as a Family-Education Care Package with notes and reflective questions or recommended deepening practices for an additional $35 (total $50). These packages are priced with the intention that multiple people may view the recordings, and serve as a great resource for parent meetings in schools & centers, or homeschool co-op parent studies. ​

There are so many wonderful crafts that we can explore with our children, and the creations that they fashion with their little hands can become prized pieces on our mantles and dining room tables. On the other hand, our homes can sometimes feel like they will float away in the flotsam and jetsam of the uncountable knick knacks and treasures of childhood. These coveted items can be challenging to sift through, organize, display, and or cull because they are all special in their own right.
In this webinar, we will explore how to artistically reinhabit space. "Reinhabiting" refers to figuring out a new way to live in a given area. The area could be a porch that feels more cluttered than welcoming or a bedroom that feels more overwhelming than relaxing or even a cabinet that feels more confusing than orienting. Resetting a space doesn't need to be simply about cleaning and organizing. While those aspects are necessarily parts of the lifting process, reframing our intentions for the space and allowing our creative impulses to imbue the space are equally valuable.
We will outline how children of all ages can observe and/or participate in the reinhabiting activities. Working with physical spaces with a lifted consciousness builds a foundation for children (and adults!) to inhabit their own selves with increased fullness.

Shanah Ahmadi
Shanah earned a B.A. in Communications from the University of Oklahoma, and she completed her LifeWays training in 2007. That same year she began a home-based program named The Purple House, which in 2010 was incorporated as a non-profit organization named Rose Rock School. Shanah currently serves as Director of Rose Rock School, plus she is a Grade School teacher there. She loves getting to know the individual spirits of the people with whom she works--children, parents, and colleagues. She cannot begin to count the ways that the many people she has worked with over the years have shaped her character and helped her to be a more loving, authentic, and dedicated human being.
